Celebrate life with magnificence.
You need no forgiveness or permission — just love.
Inhale, smell that sweet essence of the wines and the nectars of the flowers.
Wrap your tongue around the goodness of food — healthful to each cell of your body.
Adorn yourself with luxurious cloth and style.
See all as a reflection of you.
Stop and listen to the music of your heart.
You are timeless beauty — the stunning bride — the handsome groom.
Something in your smile reflects in your eyes life abundant.
Celebrate and feel yourself at last at home.
You are simply splendid.
Live from the inside out. Hold onto that specialness — that self-esteem and self-confidence that helps you hold your head up high. Look at your life naturally — live your life naturally. Start right now and make a commitment to yourself that everything that you do or say from this point on will have a positive and supportive tone. Make a commitment to yourself to allow your beauty to shine. Age does not matter. Be joyous and love yourself. If you are good, you will be good for others. How do you do this you ask, with commitments, responsibilities, deadlines, and CNN and FOX type news shows debilitating your vitality?
Take time out and breathe. Your breath has been with you since you have been born and it will be with you until the day you die. Your breath is the only constant in your world, people, places and things come and go — careers come and go. You do not control your breathing for it happens naturally without you thinking about it. But, you can, from time to time, tune into your breath and observe a few things. One thing to look at is are you breathing from your belly? When you go to a mountaintop or to the seaside — you will find that you let go and take a deep breath. You feel good and at ease. Most often people breath shallow breaths from their chest or even shallower from their throat or head! Watch a young child — they breathe from their belly — the breath comes in all the way down to the belly and out from the belly — the chest is not involved other than the lungs filling with air.
How can you use your home to support you in living splendid? You do not have to have crystal chandeliers, though they are certainly beautiful. All you need to do is surround yourself with images, furnishings, fabrics, sounds, and scents that reflect happiness and joy — peace and contentment for you. You do not have to feel you have to match a neighbor’s aesthetic — you are you — be an individual — think for yourself. Try letting go of old, worn out items that may be a drain on your energy and no longer of use to you (people may come into this category). Ask yourself if you love it or if it functions and if you answer yes to either question, keep it — otherwise why keep it in your life?
Look around your home to things that may not be in good repair. Get the leaky faucet fixed. Touch up the chipped paint on the wall. Put in new light bulbs where they have burned out. Straighten out the linen closet and clean out stained or frayed sheets and towels. Clean up the little bits of mold around the tub. How can you feel splendid if part of what is in your face everyday is broken? If you are not aware, soon you will feel broken, toxic, or frayed for your home reflects to you – you.
Take time out each day — even if it is only five minutes to count your blessings. This simple tool will actually support your splendid feelings. How lucky are you — how grateful are you? Maybe you need a reminder every now and then since responsibilities such as taking care of children or parents can be overwhelming at times. Remember, to be grateful for your bills and pay them all on time — otherwise, make the needed changes to adjust your bills to a lifestyle that you want and can afford.
You are splendid — sing, dance and live your life as such. It will make for a better world since your happiness affects us all.
